A small everyday win

Five dinners from what is in your fridge

Written for parents and stay-at-home moms. No AI experience needed.

Dinner feels easier when you have a starting point. Give a chat tool a plain list of food you already own. You choose what sounds good and what is safe to eat.

Start here

  1. List the food you want to use first. Add the number of people and foods to avoid. Names and photos are not needed.
  2. Paste the first prompt into your chat tool. Replace each [blank] before you send it.
  3. Read every meal, swap what will not work, and check the shopping list against your cupboard.

Three prompts you can use

Copy a prompt into your chat tool and replace the [blanks]. Check each reply before using it.

1. Make a first draft

Plan 5 dinners for [number] people using [fridge and cupboard list] first. Avoid [foods]. I have [minutes] to cook each night. Give a dinner for each day and a grocery list grouped by produce, chilled food, frozen food, and cupboard items. Mark unknown amounts “check recipe.”

2. Make it fit your life

Swap the meal for [day] for something easier. Use [ingredient] before buying more food. Show only the revised meal and changes to the grocery list.

3. Check before you use it

Check the plan against my food list. Which extra ingredients do I need? Which recipe amounts should I confirm? Do not guess whether food is fresh or safe.

Mistake most beginners make

Asking for a meal plan without saying what you have. That can turn a small dinner job into a much bigger shopping trip.

One last check

Read food labels for allergies. Follow trusted food safety guidance; a chat tool cannot check how food was stored.
