A small everyday win

A product description built from real facts

Written for small business owners. No AI experience needed.

A clear description helps someone decide whether an item fits their needs. Start with facts you can check, not a request to make the product sound amazing.

Start here

  1. List size, material, use, care needs, and any real limits from your product records.
  2. Say who the description is for and where it will appear.
  3. Read every claim against the item and remove anything you cannot support.

Three prompts you can use

Copy a prompt into your chat tool and replace the [blanks]. Check each reply before using it.

1. Make a first draft

Write a short description of [product] for [buyer]. Use only these facts: [materials, size, use, care]. Put the most helpful detail first. Do not invent health claims, results, reviews, delivery promises, or benefits.

2. Make it fit your life

Make the description shorter and plainer. Keep the size, material, and care facts. Replace hype with useful detail.

3. Check before you use it

List each factual claim in the draft and the note it came from. Mark any claim that my notes do not support. What would a buyer still need to ask?

Mistake most beginners make

Giving only a product name, then assuming the details in the reply are true.

One last check

Check marketplace rules and any requirements for your product. Use real reviews only with appropriate permission.
